Channelview High School

LTY partnered with Huckabee for extensive additions and renovations to Channelview High School, including a new Continuing Technical Education (CTE) Center with shops, labs, and classroom space, as well as a new 1,000-seat multi-purpose auditorium. The additions created space for another 300 students at the campus. The project also included renovations to the baseball and softball complex such as batting cages, new restrooms and concession stands, and a new video board at the football stadium.

In addition, the existing high school building underwent many upgrades to security, technology, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, restrooms, flooring, library modernizations, and handicap accessibility. And the current CTE wing was repurposed to create space for additional academic and art classrooms. LTY provided all MEPT design services for this project.
