Kingwood Middle School

LTY worked with Kirksey’s K–12 team to design a new building to replace the existing Kingwood Middle School in Humble ISD. The project is part of Humble ISD’s 2018 bond project and included extensive input from local community members in the design phase. The new campus can house up to 1,100 students and opened in August 2022. It includes many updates to security and technology, as well as larger classrooms. The existing building, which is 42 years old, is being torn down to make way for additional parking and athletic fields. LTY provided all MEPT design services for this project.
